Access Points

Access Points holds the information on the access points to any asset that Infrastructure Management control. This includes characteristics of each access point such as:

• Times of access
• Suitability of access for various weight limits
• Environmental restrictions
  • Overhead cables
  • Height limits
• Contact details for other parts of NR such as signals, electrical etc.

Access Points data is used both internally and externally by :

• Emergency Services (such as Police, Fire and Ambulance)
• Freight Operating Companies
• Train Operating Companies

External access is on a request basis rather than online.
