Access Points
Description
Access Points holds the information on the access points to any asset that Infrastructure Management control. This includes characteristics of each access point such as:
- Times of access
- Suitability of access for various weight limits
- Environmental restrictions
- Overhead cables
- Height limits
- Contact details for other parts of NR such as signals, electrical etc.
Who Uses It
Access Points data is used both internally and externally by :
- Emergency Services (such as Police, Fire and Ambulance)
- Freight Operating Companies
- Train Operating Companies
External access is on a request basis rather than online.
